Safety and Security Glass
Safety glass was designed to protect humans from injury from broken glass.
The Australian Standards board updated the standards for glass and glazing in buildings in 2006. The code for glass in buildings is AS1288.
There are two main types of safety glass:
* Laminated safety glass is two pieces of glass bonded together with a layer of poly vinyl butal which provides its safety feature. Both pieces of glass need to be broken before it poses a safety risk.

Painted Glass Splashbacks
We provide a free measure and quote to suit your kitchen and budget.
A full range of painted glass and mirrored splash backs to choose from.
With a huge choice of colours to choose from, we only use toughened glass to withstand bumps, knocks and heat from the cooktop.
We can cut, paint and fit most shapes and sizes but some conditions do apply to some shapes and
sizes.
There are two main types of glass commonly used for splashbacks and are slightly different from each other in looks and cost depending on your budget.
Clear Glass – standard glass used in household windows and doors witch naturally has a green tinge through it so when you paint this glass it will slightly throw a green tinge through the colour of the paint.
